The Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is a research university in Brussels, Belgium, that is both Dutch and English-speaking. It is composed of four campuses and is divided into eight faculties that carry out the university’s three main objectives: learning, research, and community service.
Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) offers the program of European and International Governance for a tuition fee of 3,850 EUR annually. The Master’s degree is a one-year program taught in English that covers two major areas of political science: European studies/governance and international politics/relations. The program is conducted in one of the world’s most important capitals of governance, close to European institutions, NATO, and numerous embassies, corporate headquarters, and non-governmental organizations. This is an excellent place to start for any student interested in international relations, since it provides opportunities to attend off-campus seminars, get internships, connect, and get involved in one of the many organizations. Prospective students are required to be proficient in English.
The program will enable Belgian and foreign students to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare for a career in diplomacy, national and international organizations, or similar fields like journalism, academic research etc. If students choose to pursue a greater level of specialization, the program can be easily and affordably expanded to a second-year Master-After-Master on European integration.
